Financial management is key to coordinating and participating in FP projects, and an introduction to the new FP7 Financial Rules means that even those who are familiar with the FP6 Rules have to relearn the Financial Rules, work out the implications for their organisation, and decide how best to work.
The aim of this workshop, organised by the MCST, in collaboration with the Office of the European Commission Representation in Malta, is to ensure that participants acquire the skills necessary to interpret and implement these rules within an FP7 project.
The workshop is designed to cater for finance and administrative staff as well as researchers involved in EU research projects. Project managers and professional advisors involved in such projects will also find this session of interest to their work.
The Workshop will cover the following topics:
- FP7 Financial Regulations
Ø Funding Schemes
Ø Differences between FP6 and FP7
Ø Funding Rates
Ø Eligible vs. ineligible costs and Overheads
Ø Financial Reporting
Ø Cost Recording and receipts
Ø Recording Systems
Ø Subcontracting
Ø Audit Certificates
Participation is limited. For registration please contact Ms. Anthea Frendo at anthea.frendo@gov.mt or call on 23602141.
